The system is developed to cover most procurement needs within the participating companies. It is the subscribers' objective to establish the majority of tender lists based on this qualification system.
The qualification system is a result of the establishment of the Nigerian Content Bill in 2010. The NC Act stipulates Laws and guidelines regulating contracts and projects under all work programmes in the oil and gas industry. It ensures industry service providers are Nigerian content conscious in their tenders for solutions to the industry. NC targets are clearly set in the act.
